Standard Design
Valve bodies, plugs, actuators and clamp rings are all easily configurable on the Unique SSV Reverse Acting, which is offered in two or three body configurations. Two or four operational ports allow the valve to function as a shut-off valve, while three to six ports allow it to function as a changeover valve. Both the shut-off and changeover versions come with a valve seat that may be assembled to give flexibility.
A defined compression design optimizes the valve seals for durability and long service life. Clamp rings secure the actuator to the valve body and the yoke connects the two. The Alfa Laval ThinkTop V50 and V70, which are available for attachment, allow for sensing and control of the valve. The Alfa Laval Anytime configurator makes it simple to tailor to almost any process need.
Working Principle
A distant source of compressed air controls the Alfa Laval Unique SSV Reverse Acting. Protecting process lines from pressure peaks, the actuator ensures smooth operation. A ThinkTop from Alfa Laval may operate the valve.
