Standard Design
The Unique SSV Long Stroke is available in a one- or two-body configuration, with easily configurable valve bodies, plugs, actuators and clamp rings. The valve can be fitted with a shut-off valve with two or three working ports, or a changeover valve with up to five ports. To ensure adaptability, the valve seat located between the two bodies in the changeover variation is easily accessible for installation.
The valve seals are designed for durability and long service life using a predetermined compression design. The yoke connects the actuator to the valve body and all components are assembled using clamp rings. The Alfa Laval ThinkTop V50 and V70 can also be mounted on the valve to improve sensing and control. The Alfa Laval Anytime configurator can be easily customised to meet almost any process requirement.
Working Principle
The Alfa Laval Unique SSV Long Stroke is powered by compressed air and operated remotely. The actuator protects process lines from pressure peaks and guarantees a smooth operation. The valve can be controlled using an Alfa Laval ThinkTop.
