Standard Design
This manually controlled SSV consists of one or two valve bodies, a plug, sealing, a crank mechanism, and a clamp ring. A lock screw allows the plug to be secured in place. You have the option of selecting a lockable handle. The valve can operate as a shutdown valve with two or three functional ports, or as a changeover valve with up to five ports. The interchangeable variant includes a valve seat that can be assembled to add flexibility. The specified compression design of the valve seals ensures maximum durability and service life. Simply replacing the crank mechanism with an actuator converts the valve to a pneumatic one. The Alfa Laval Anytime configurator makes it simple to tailor to virtually any process requirement.
