For a range of industrial uses including paint, steel, pulp and paper, chemicals and oil and gas, the Alfa Laval GJ PF Rotary Jet Head product line comprises tank cleaning devices. The range spans the capacity to clean big industrial fermenters and storage tanks measuring more than 5678m3 (1.5 million gallons) as well as small storage/process tanks. The series also includes a unique unit using a one-way aperture to clean subterranean storage tanks.
The range of Alfa Laval GJ Series:
Alfa Laval GJ 4, Alfa Laval GJ 8, Alfa Laval GJ 10, Alfa Laval PF
Ever wonder how to validate your powerflex jet heads cleaning process?
Here’s the solution: Alfa Laval Rota Check
The Alfa Laval GJ PF FT Rotary Jet Head tank cleaning machine is meticulously engineered to deliver optimal efficiency and efficacy in the cleansing of tanks with capacities spanning from 5,000 to 25,000 gallons. The reliable apparatus delivers efficient cleansing across a range of pressures and flow rates.
The sanitary design of the Alfa Laval GJ PF FT Rotary Jet Head renders it appropriate for application within the food, beverage, pharmaceutical and personal care sectors, accommodating both portable and permanent installations. The conventional machine autonomously performs cleaning, flushing and lubrication processes, eliminating the need for oil or lubricant within the gear train. Nonetheless, an alternative option is available in the form of a grease-lubricated variant. All components of the Powerflex jet nozzles are fabricated from materials that comply with FDA regulations.

The proven The Alfa Laval GJ PF FT is a high-impact tank cleaning apparatus from the esteemed Gamajet series. It has been demonstrated that corporations can conserve up to 85% on water, time, energy, and resources in comparison to static spray balls. This device can clean tanks with capacities between 5,000 and 25,000 liters.
The Alfa Laval GJ PF FT Rotary Jet Head can pass through openings as narrow as four inches and functions at low pressures and flows to sanitize tanks in high-impact cleaning scenarios, including ethanol, paper, pulp, chemical, steel, and industrial fermentation processes. Companies that use this equipment into their tank cleaning procedures save time and enhance production.
The Gamajet series of high-impact tank cleaning apparatus integrates pressure and flow to generate powerful cleaning jets. Cleaning transpires when the directed stream makes contact with the surface. This impact, along with the tangential force originating from that place, dislodges impurities from the surface and cleanses the tank inside. Moreover, the device is engineered to rotate in a precise, repeatable, and consistent 360° manner. This comprehensive global indexing pattern guarantees the complete cleaning of the tank’s interior.

The GJ rotary jet head tank cleaning devices are part of our highly acclaimed Gamajet product range. Alfa Laval powerflex jet heads technology combines pressure and flow to create high impact cleaning jets that are precision engineered to rotate in a precise, repeatable and reliable 360-degree pattern.
The unique design reduces your cost to clean and environmental footprint by minimizing the amount of water, energy and cleaning agents required to clean tanks. Using high-impact jet cleaning instead of traditional ineffective static spray ball reduces waste and resource consumption.

The Alfa Laval GJ PF’s size and weight make it now feasible to upgrade your cleaning tool to a more effective option. Alfa Laval GJ PF rotary jet head fits through a 4′-connection, allowing one to put the device into an existing tank top connection.
Alfa Laval Rotacheck validates the rotary jet heads cleaning process, reduces water consumption and product loss. Provides peace of mind.
The high-impact jet stream from the rotating jet head is preconfigured to uniformly coat the tank’s interior in an increasingly dense pattern. This generates a significant mechanical impact with a minimal volume of water, acid, or caustic substance. Most GJ rotary jet heads are capable of functioning at both high and low pressures.
The Alfa Laval GJ rotary jet head line features a unique, grease-lubricated gear that prevents potentially harmful particles from becoming trapped during CIP recirculation. This innovative design enhances performance while simultaneously reducing wear and strain.
Less energy is used when the tank cleaning cycle is faster. Moving cleaning fluid through the tubes is done automatically by gears that turn them around the vertical and horizontal axes. During the first turn, the nozzles make a rough pattern on the surface of the tank. The pattern gets denser over the course of eight rounds.
