If you already have tank cleaning equipment mounted on top of your tank, the PlusClean will slot right in with no problem. When the Cleaning-in-Place (CIP) mode is activated, a fan is used to spray pressured cleaning medium into hard to reach areas. By doing so, you can be certain that every surface will be spotless, while also reducing your water and cleaning chemical use by as much as 80%.

Whether it’s a static spray ball, rotary spray head, or rotary jet head, the PlusClean® improves the cleaning effectiveness of the main cleaning equipment. Depending on the general design of your tank, you can install the cleaning device on the tank bottom or on the tank wall. You can customise your cleaning tool by choosing from three spray patterns and two mounting options (weld plates).
A specialised product line
In addition to the standard type, which employs cleaning medium to operate a piston, the Alfa Laval PlusClean® also comes in a pneumatic variation. The pneumatic variation uses a controlled amount of air pressure to operate the piston. When used in conjunction with the Alfa Laval ThinkTop, you can observe the entire tank cleaning process, including feedback signals such as open/closed and the purging option.

Water-saving tank cleaning nozzle
The suggested installation method for Alfa Laval PlusClean® cleaning equipment is flush with the tank wall and/or bottom. In response to either the cleaning media or regulated air pressure, the equipment produces a forceful impact, propelling the cleaning media in a fan pattern directly onto the filthy surface. Rotating the shaft and agitator blades repeatedly and with control ensures thorough cleaning.
After the cleaning cycle, the built-in spring mechanism returns the piston to its original position, ensuring that the cleaning device is securely closed and sealed. Make careful to utilise the actuator whenever purging is needed.
